(Richesse de la langue française) "fagot d'épines" : 7. Expr. fig. fam. Fagot d'épines, personne revêche, d'un abord difficile. Incommode et querelleur, "c'est un fagot d'épines".
Ambas expresiones tienen un carácter coloquial, que animaliza ("cabrés") o cosifica (ce sont des "fagots") a los afrikaners. Me parece importante respetar el tono sorprendente y casi "impertinente" de este discurso de carácter histórico.
