German term or phrase: updaten
I'm looking for the past participle of the German "updaten". Is it "updatet", geupdatet" or "upgedatet", or something else completely?
see Duden 2000: updaten (aktualisieren); er updatet, sie hat upgedatet...
I agree with the other answers that "aktualisieren" is much better; you can also say (EDV) "die Version eines Programmes verbessern"

If this is in Duden, then it's authoritative enough for me!

As with my other answer, but don't use it. It's horrible. Try 'aktualisiert' :)
