broaching von cylinder cores = Die Erfindung betrifft eine Maschine zum Räumen von Zylinderkernen für Schließzylinder, bei der Räummesser vorgesehen sind.

Das Räumen ist ein spanabhebendes Verfahren zur Herstellung von Innen- und Außenprofilen.

Die häufigste Anwendung ist das Räumen von Innenprofilen, bei denen das Werkzeug, die Räumnadel, durch einen Hydraulikzylinder durch die Bohrung des Werkstücks gezogen wird. Die nötigen Zugkräfte liegen je nach Durchmesser des Profils bei 100–200 kN (früher: 10–20 t) oder auch noch höher.

Die Räumnadel kann auch durch das Werkstück gedrückt werden, z. B. mit einer Presse. Dabei können wegen der Knickgefahr nur kurze Räumnadeln eingesetzt werden.

Räummesser. dient zur Vermeidung von Resten zwischen dem Rotor und der seitlichen Konstruktionswand. www.reinbold.de/.../beschreibung-zerkleinerungsanlagen.htm

Može se raditi i o noževima za uklanjanje srha, ali i taloga iz sita.
Ako se radi možda o bazenima za taloženje kod pročišćivača vode, koristi se izraz "grablje".

Koja god da mu je namjena, taj "nož" služi za skidanje i uklanjanje suvišnog materijala u nekom procesu.
