'Absetzen' kan her (efter min opfattelse) enten betyde noget i retning af afkortning/afklipning, eller måske også at pladen/pladerne forsynes med en skulder af en eller anden slags i/ved overlapningen.
Hvis du ikke har mulighed for at spørge kunden ang. tangens præcise funktion, vil du evt. kunne omgå problemet ved at skrive noget vagt i retning af 'tang til kantafslutning' el. lign.
