Infusions-/Injektionsverfahren:
Die Unterschiede der beiden Verfahren liegt in der Art, wie das Harz in das Fasermaterial kommt. Bei den Infusionsverfahren wird das Harz mittels Unterdruck in das Bauteil gezogen. Die typischen Vertreter dieses Verfahrens sind RI („resin infusion“) und RFI („resin film infusion“).
Das Injektionsverfahren, also das einspritzen von Harz in das Fasermaterial, findet überwiegend bei der RTM („resin transfer moulding“) Fertigung statt. Das Verfahren ist dem Spritzgussverfahren sehr ähnlich. Teilweise wird auch beim RTM-Prozess zusätzlich evakuiert, wodurch eine Kombination von Injektions- und Infusionsverfahren entsteht.
