Ik denk dat Henk op het goede spoor zit met z'n eg.
Bij die eg kom je ook uit via de eerste link, en van "weeder" kun je dan weer "onkruideg" vinden, bijv. in het "Engels-Nederlands woordenboek voor landbouw- en milieuwetenschappen". (Verder staan daar o.a. nog "onkruidwieder", "onkruidsteker", "wiedmachine".)
Of die tanden erbij moeten, hangt evt. van de context af, eggen hebben tenslotte vaak tanden, maar niet altijd.
