I can't even find this term on the Web! Has anyone heard of this and know it should be translated?

Here's the context:

Aufgrund der für US-GAAP erforderlichen Sachverhaltsinformationen werden abweichend zu den sonstigen Rechnungslegungsvorschriften die US-GAAP-Vollwerte nicht nach der sonst vorherrschenden Bruttokontenmethode (= ein separates Konto je Rechnungslegungsvorschrift bei Sachverhalten mit Bewertungsunterschieden), sondern aus der Kombination von IAS-Konto und reinem US-GAAP-Deltakonto gebildet.

neutral  RobinB: This is an entirely different context, I think. The "gross method" itself is an established concept in financial and tax accounting, but Niamh's context is evidently about IFRS reconciliations, talking about a single account per standard. Weird...
