German term or phrase: nennwertlos
Das Grundkapital der Gesellschaft betrug zu Anfang 2006 EUR 50,000 und war in 50,000 nennwertlose Stückaktien im rechnerischen Nennwert von je EUR 1,00 eingeteilt.

Since this was written by an accountant it must be correct :), just that it looks like a contradiction to me. If nennwertlos means they have no par value, can anyone tell me why they then specify EUR 1.00?

Explanation:
Even though the shares do not have a face (par) value, they do have an arithmatical "notional value" of EUR 1 per share.

And just because a WP wrote it, does NOT mean that it must be correct! I've seen too many errors by WP to make that mistake!
