Explanation:
According to the German Custody Law Act, "safe custody accounting" or "deposit accounting" requires the keeping of two different ledgers. The so-called "Personenbuch" lists the bailors as well as the securities deposited by each of them. The so-called "Sachdepotbuch" lists the deposited securities only.

I think the most reasonable thing to do is to assume that the reader is familiar (or at least willing to familiarise himself) with the German system of deposit accounting and to translate simply as "safe custody accounting" OR "deposit accounting".
