No, nothing to with derivatives, it's a paragraph which follows on from the following (which also needs revising):

In the first instance losses were incurred until the financial year 2000 due to construction phase III. This situation resulted in particular from both the declining balance depreciation of the fixed assets and the straight-line amortization of the deferred income resultng from the forfaiting. As a consequence of the tax audit carried out in the past year the amortization of the deferred income resulting from the forfaiting has been changed from the straight-line to the declining balance method since 2001.
