This term is stated in notes to the financial statements:

"Einzelne Sachverhalte können im vorliegenden Gliederungsschema mehreren Bilanzposten zugeordnet werden. Aus Gründen der Klarheit und Übersichtlichkeit wird dazu folgende Erläuterung gegeben:

Die **Mitzugehörigkeitsvermerke** betreffen folgende Posten und Sachverhalte:

Forderungen gegenüber verbundenen Unternehmen sind in der Bilanz mit Euro xxx ausgewiesen."

You could also say "line items" or "captions" instead of "headings" (but then you have the problem of how to translate "Posten", which can also be "line items", "captions", or "headings").

Based on my answer back in 2005, as well as the current post-BilMoG translation of the HGB (now expected to be published in October).
