From a profit/loss report of a German company. Comes in the "Konzerngewinn- und -verlustrechnung fuer die Zeit bis 31 Dez. 20XX" section.

agree  Ted Wozniak: But I would use "net income" rather than profit.

  -> Fair enough :-)

agree  RobinB: As this term is more commonly found in German IFRS financial statements than in German GAAP consolidated FS, I'd go with "consolidated profit for the period", which is standard IFRS-speak (in contrast to "net income" ... sorry Ted!)
