German to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Advertising / Public Relations / text for pitches, advertising for company
German term or phrase: höchstpersönliche Amtsausübung
This job is a bunch of advertising material for a law firm. I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with the overusage of verbs as nouns and running out of ways to deal with them. The firm is a law firm but also has lawyers who are also insolvency administrators.

[...preceded by intro about their legal experience...]

In der Insolvenzverwaltung sind **die höchstpersönliche Amtsausübung** und ein fortführungsorientierter Ansatz Leitbilder unserer Tätigkeit.

Okay, so they value having the insolvency administrator actually do the job and not his assistants? and work to help companies continue business instead of closing shop?

Or does höchstpersönlich have a different meaning here?

Maybe I'm just looking for pointers on how to work this into the document without completely changing their text.

English translation:highly individualized/personalized performance of duty/duties
Explanation:
highly individual/personal performance of duties

the first suggestion (individualized) obviously means that it is in the direction of tailor-made, whereas the second suggestion (individual) points more in the direction of the executing person.

Difficult to say, without knowing more of the company, whether they are out "sich selber ein Kränzchen zu winden" i.e. the second alternative, or whether they offer individualized, non-routine services.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks for your input. These guys came from a large law firm with a huge department with one or two heads and are starting their own firm. They had several people sharing offices and working for the big guys. It makes me lean towards the second option because I'd hope their solutions are individualized to fit the client.
