German term or phrase: die verarbeiteten Materialien
"Hervorstechende Merkmale sind die Motive „XXX“ und „YYY“ sowie die verarbeiteten Materialien im innovativen Mix."

My text is a short marketing report. This sentence describes key rings (Schlüsselanhänger). Unfortunately, there is little more in the way of context.

I'm not sure how to interpret the "verarbeiteten Materialien". Are "Materialien" materials in the sense of fabric, or could it be other materials? And how is "verarbeitet" to be understood in this context?

Can anyone help?
