German to English translations [PRO]
Marketing - Advertising / Public Relations
German term or phrase: Wirtschaftsjunioren
Mitglied im geschäftsführenden Bundesvorstand der Wirtschaftsjunioren Deutschland, Berlin

Okay, this is some sort of union, club, society, that much is clear. Does anyone have an appropriate English translation? I have been working with "Business Youth" "Young Business People" (Well THAT'S obviously rot!)

My working translation: Member of Proprietor's Federal Board of Directors of German Business Youth, Berlin.
A lovely mess, isn't it?

Help would be much appreciated!

nicht übersetzen

Explanation:

members of the executive committee ...

Explanation:
of the German association "Wirtschaftsjunioren" (junior executives and entrepreneurs).
That should be comprehensible (I hope).

Future Business Leaders {of America}

Explanation:
This is what they call that sort of club here in the USA. Of course, you would have to redirect the geographical information.

Of course, I would suggest leaving the original untranslated in parentheses (or vice versa) just for those folks who do not understand German.

As long as you get the term you need, Ramey, that is the main object.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hello jccantrell! Nice try, but not what I'm looking for. I know the FBL, and was at first tempted, but it's soemthing completely different. Thank-you anyway!

neutral  Birgit Gläser: I do not think that is it - these people are actually entrepreneurs and have their own companies. They are not business students.

-> Hmmm, in view of this and the discussion, perhaps "Young Business Leaders"
