dann sehe ich das so wie Peter, but it is not the edge that is stretched but the actual vane (or skin as you refer to it).

If "Blattnase" is "leadig edge" then "Blattfahne" might be "trailing edge".

... but I cannot picture how the leading edge would be streched over the trailing edge. I can only imagine how some sort of skin is stretched over leading and trailing edges.

Ich glaube nicht, dass das zutrifft, da es sich hierbei um einen Hubschrauberrotorblatt handelt. Bei gespannt vermute ich, dass es eigentlich eingespanntlauten müßte, da der Rotorblatt auf die Wiegeeinrichtung aufgelegt wird, von der Schere aufgenommen und dann, wie hier beschrieben "gespannt" werden muss, also wohl clamped/tightened.

bei WKAs gibt es bei kleineren Anlagen eine Windfahne bzw. ein Leitwerk, das den Rotor in den Wind dreht, ist das vielleicht gemeint? Das wäre dann "vane", in diesem Fall "tail vane".

Hier geht's aber wohl um das eigentliche Rotorblatt. Da wäre es dann evtl. "blade vane" (wie auch bei Turbinenschaufelblättern).
Und gespannt wäre dann vielleicht "tightened" oder "stretched", da es sich scheinbar um ein Folienblatt handelt.

But wasn't really answered there, as far as I can tell, although an explanation was offered and the question was closed with the reason given that the answer was found elsewhere.
I rather doubt that it is "blade flag", as mentioned at the end of the French explanation though.
