Laufzeit: Das würde ich so verstehen, dass die Teile am Ende ihrer Laufzeit (z.B. 100 days/ 700 hrs) einer Untersuchung unterzogen werden, um vielleicht Verlängerungen (oder Verkürzungen) der Laufzeit anzustreben, die dann wiederum die Kosten senken. Häufig sind die Teile noch bestens in Schuss und müsssen trotzdem "for flight safety reasons" ausgetauscht werden.

So would "Service life limited parts and retirement life limited parts" express it adequately, or would it be better to say something like "Life-limited parts, whether service life or calendar time limited..."?
Also, what is "Lauftzeit", actually? The question goes on to ask "Findet eine Bewertung nach Ende der Laufzeit statt?" This seems to imply that the Laufzeit is actually just the duration of the evaluation flights rather than the lifetime/service life of the aircraft. Or would this be referring to another (post) evaluation, not the flight evaluation before the aircraft are potentially selected and put into service?

So basically "if they are replaced before the end of the standard mandatory replacement time"/"if they are replaced before the standard mandatory replacement deadline"?
What about "Zeitwert der Flotte"? Does that mean the "age of the fleet" (of aircraft)?

read this as "Standardzeit- Wechselpflicht"
d.h. die für einen Wechsel standardmäßig vorgeschriebene Zeit
