German term or phrase: Dübel
'Dübel' appears in a liability insurance agreement, which refers to the manufacture of fastening and assembly material, such as screws, chemical/technical products, storage systems, electrical/electronic components. Not much further context is given, so - on the basis of probability - would 'Dübel' be more likely to be 'dowel pin' or 'plug' in this context? Or something else? Any help appreciated! :-)

Anchor plug
Explanation:
Provides an anchor where a screw would not otherwise hold. Good for UK and US.
Rawlplug is a company name which became a household name but it's not used much now (UK).
Dowel is OK for US (but not for UK) however a dowel can also be many other things- I would avoid it.
