A weed is just a plant growing in the wrong place.
5 hits only, yes, I would not bee too happy about that normally, but none of the other solutions had even on, and how many people are into plant sociology (to most people a rather obscure branch of - ecological- botany) and have articles posted on that on the web.
I also realize that some of the species lsited in the one German link about the Ackerkrautgesellschaft are actually not really herbaceous, since herbaceous plants tend to be annuals, not perennials.
