"Ein Aufschluss der Phosphate, etwa vergleichbar dem Aufschluss von Calciumphosphaten im <B>Rhenania-Verfahren</B>, war aufgrund der Abwesenheit von Alkalimetallionen nicht zu erwarten, vgl. G. Trömel in Ullmanns Enzyklopädie der technischen Chemie, Band 6, 3. Aufl. 1955. Im Allgemeinen liegt der Gehalt an Na2O + K2O in Klärschlammverbrennungsaschen bei ca. 2%. Das Molverhältnis Na + K / P liegt mit 0,1:1 deutlich unterhalb dem für den thermischen Phosphataufschluss notwendigen Molverhältnis von 1:1.
