Asker: I’m sorry I should have added more text. After the crates have been placed in “Zuchträumen” there follows a 2 week “Fruktifikation Phase” during which the crates are watered. At the end of this period the crates are: “an die Züchter ausgeliefert” who presumably continue the growing process, so when the crates are delivered to the growers, the mushrooms are only at an early stage of growth.
