German to English translations [PRO] Science - Agriculture / grains | | German term or phrase: hirsekorngroß | This is actually from a German medical report, but the question may be more appropriate for agriculture. In a German medical report, as part of surgery, two small growths are described as "hirsekorngroß". I know that this means the size of a millet grain, but how can I better describe this for an American medical worker? I don't think most Americans know how big a millet grain is.
Thanks! |

I used the literal "size of a millet grain" as you suggested, but I also used your "size of a pinhead" alternative as a note for those who may not know how big a millet grain is.
