German term or phrase: Raumkultur
"Als Teil der ABC-Gruppe wurde die Firma ABC-D im Jahre 1997 gegründet und konzentriert sich seitdem auf die Produktion von Sprühgeräten und Spritzgeräten für Raumkulturen, wie Obstbauengpflanzungen, Obstbauhochstammpflanzen, jegliche Weinanbaukulturen und verschiedenes mehr."

From a text about a company that makes pest management products. I have absolutely no idea what "Raumkultur" means and can't find a translation for it anywhere (beyond "room culture" on a couple of sites, which sounds ludicrous). TIA for any light you can shed on this highly obscure term.

tall-growing crops
Explanation:
Raumkultur, as the source text says, includes such things as fruit trees and grapevines. It's the opposite of Flächenkultur, low-growing crops. If you look at the photographs in the reference below, you'll see the difference between the two concepts.

"Tall-growing crops" get over 32,000 Google hits; "spatial cultivation" only 87. However, my answer choice is not based on Google hits alone, but on Phil's explanation and reference. So many thanks, Phil, but thanks also to Jennifer and both peer graders for their input. Appreciate everyone's assistance.

spatial cultivation

Explanation:
Patent texts generally do not make good references, I know, but this one gives a simple description of what 'spatial cultivation' is:

Spatial Cultivation

An epiphyte such as Vanda, which is a genus of orchid family plant, is attached to a tree, etc., in a natural state, while hanging down its roots into a space, thereby to absorb water of fog, rain, etc. When such a plant species is artificially cultivated in a space, it is necessary to increase the frequency of watering so as to prevent drying.

The second sentence in the above description matches the mention of "Sprühgeräten und Spritzgeräten für Raumkulturen" in your source text.
