philgoddard: I wouldn't translate it. No one will understand what it means, and you could just say "organic and biodynamic farms" for"Bio- und Demeterhöfe".

John Speese: I would keep the term Demeter, since it is a proper name, and maybe add a footnote explaining what it is. And I too always translate Bio in this context as "organic."
