Adelssitz manor house

Explanation:
Ich habe Herrensitz und Adelssitz als Übersetzung für manor vorgeschlagen; nicht ein Fremdwort durch das andere ersetzt.
Landsitz passt eher nicht; Gutshaus ist zu rural; Villa zu modern (auch wenn die Römer schon so was hatten!)

A manor house or fortified manor-house is a country house, which has historically formed the centre of a manor (see Manorialism).
