German term or phrase: Nachweisschwerpunkt
The discussion is of scabbard designs, but basically I'm having trouble with a lot of these "Schwerpunkten."

Century A.D.

This one I translated as "principal unambiguous evidence":

Century A.D.

Here I put "after a clear emphasis":

Nach einem deutlichen Nachweisschwerpunkt im 1. Jh. und der 1. Hälfte des 2. Jhs. n. Century A.D. belegt.

Other Schwerpunkten in the document:

Umlaufschwerpunkt (I used "high point of circulation")

Jhs. n. Chr. hinein nachweisbar.

Gebrauchsschwerpunkt (I used simply "a certain emphasis"):

Mainly I'm hunting for Nachweisschwerpunkt, but if you think I've got the others wrong, I'd appreciate hearing about it!

Thanks very much.

the bulk of the evidence
Explanation:
These passages are concerned with dating the artifacts or concepts in question. 'Schwerpunkt' is being used in a special sense, - probably current academic jargon, indicating specification of date: So: the first example I would translate 'the bulk of the evidence points to mid-1st century; the second, 'indeed the bulk of the evidence clearly indicates or points to mid- to late 2nd century A.D.; 'Umlaufsschwerpunkt,' principle period of distribution'; 'Gebrauchsschwerpunkt',' 'principle period of use.'
