Tech/Engineering - Architecture / log building construction | | German term or phrase: Setzluft | This is in an article on log house construction. The sentence follows:
Bedingt durch das kalkulierte Setzmaß von 2 Zentimetern je Höhenmeter baute man sämtliche Anschlüsse, Türen und Fenster getrennt, mit Spielraum und ausreichender {Setzluft} ein.
I have seen "slump" as translation for "Setzmaß," but could not find "Setzluft."
Any help would be appreciated!
