not an answer, just an idea Explanation: from the phonetic spelling it sounds like "Lern(en) die alten Mütter Kinder keine Kohlen essen" I don't know if that will help you with your search or not. The next time I talk with my mother-in-law in Germany (she's about 75 years old and was born and raised "im Ruhrpott"), I'll ask her if she's ever heard of a saying like that. Good luck! |
