individualized Explanation: The word should be either "hoechstpresoenlich" or "hoechstpersoenlichst." It is a common word that can be found in any German-English dictionary. It means personally or in person (hoechst = most, persoenlich = personal, in person), but in the context of the sentence you gave above, which sounds more like advertising, individualized might work better. |

"itself" - "a perfect example of ..." Explanation: I think the "t" at the end shouldn't be there. "in the flesh" - "personified" - "itself" - "a perfect example of" - "as I live and breathe" are all possibilities for the second meaning of "hoechstpersoenlich" after "very personal and confidential". I would take "itself" itself for your text. For example: "Table Art" - The Italian Lifestyle itself - at and around the (bountifully laid)table" |

Literally: [unexpectedly] in person; personally Explanation: Try something like >>An intimate look at the Italian way of life — around the dinner table<< --- Sources: The Oxford-Duden German Dictionary; Langenscheidt’s New College German Dictionary, Collins German Dictionary; Duden Deutsches Universalwörterbuch. -- AltaVista word count: höchstpersönlich: 3533 (3,258 pages found)e.g., >>Am Nikolaustag 1998 kündigte Telekom-Chef Ron Sommer höchstpersönlich in der "Bild am Sonntag" einen "neuen Sondertarif für Internet-Nutzer" an, jedoch ohne Preise und Einführungstermin zu nennen.<< Reference: http://userpage.fu-berlin.de/~dittbern/Telekom/Offline4.html |

in person, bestowing a special honour Explanation: Persönlich on its own, definitely means in person. To reflect the "höchst" part, something would have tobe added to point out that this is a very high ranking person who doesn't not normally put in a personal appearance. It is therefore a special honour when he/she decides to do so. Good luck, Anita Reference: http://[email protected] |

personalized candle or THE VERY ... Explanation: if the -t of Höchtspersönlich" was not a typing mistake, it might be a wordplay referring to individual lighting at or around the table as the text continues. If not, then the adjective simply means - in the flesh, the one and only, THE Mr. or Mrs. so-and-so |

the (very) essence of Explanation: or: the quintessence of or: the embodiment One of these seems the capture the "essence" of the sentence. |
