Describing the new features on a company´s new range of motors:

"Anstelle der konventionellen Tränkung ist bei den SH-Motoren die Wicklung durch einen Vollverguss thermisch am Gehäuse und **A-Lagerschild** angebunden sowie elektrisch isoliert."

I have found plenty of refs. for Lagerschild, but what does the 'A' mean and what's the best way to tranlate the whole term?

Thanks for the help. After feedback from the client I found out that 'A' refers to a label on a diagram that wasn't provided. The ends are labelled A and B apparently
