German to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Automotive / Cars & Trucks
German term or phrase: Meldung
//CC-Heldungs-ID (hex); german Heldungstext; Category DO (not persistent)

It is a text on electronic controls in automobiles. What could it be?? At one stage I felt it was a typo or perhaps an error in an OCR'ed document. Could it be Meldung???
All ideas appreciated!

English translation:Has to be Meldung
Explanation:
Look at this link. It seems a very good bet to be Meldung

And, that being said, I would use "message" as that is standard for errors, trouble, etc.
