constant

Explanation:
Ich wuerde mit constant gehen (materialconstant etc.)

neutral  Teresa Reinhardt: since this is for a price estimate, I think constant is a fixed part of the price rather than a physics term

disagree  Goldcoaster: for physica, yes, but not for commercial use

-> yea, right! Interesting what the "k" stands for..? Anyway, I think using the term constant couldn`t be that wrong, could it :)

fixed amount/price/factor

Explanation:
It would be good to know what "un" really is - und or in?

I'm going to go out on a limb here (since I have said what I think it is _not_) - since this is for an estimate, I think "Konstante" here means a fixed price/amount/factor (with the prep time being the variable part - so there will be two different totals, depending on whether the repairs are done using metal or plastics)

"prep time and fixed amount/price for sheet metal or plastic at 100%"
with those being the materials, we can skip that part, it's obvious -
What's actually being repaired?
Maybe this will get someone on the right track

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi Teresa, I agree with Vez in that un is for "und". The source is in fact a car repair estimate and they seem to use all kinds of short forms for words as and when they feel like it. For example A+E I have surmised to mean aus-/einbauen (ie remove/fit) As a general point having worked with a few of these documents now, I also think that there are times when how the writer chooses to refer to a particular part can vary immensely even though the same basic part is being referenced. This was confirmed by a friend who years ago worked in a VW dealership who said that when they did not know the exact word for a part they would simply make it up. I think "fixed price" is what I will go with. Thank you!

neutral  Vez: koennte durchaus sein. "Un" ist ganz sicher einfach ein Druckfehler.
