German term or phrase: Annahmebühne
Hebebühnen mit Flüssigkeitskissen (Annahmebühnen) dürfen zum Anheben nicht verwendet werden.

This is from a dealer maintenance manual specifying how to lift the car.

Explanation:
The "Annahmebühne" is the lift used for the initial vehicle check (check-in) at the dealership/garage when the vehicle is handed over for inspection/servicing, which is called "Annahme" in German ("Annahme des Fahrzeugs durch die Werkstatt zur Inspektion/Reparatur"). Not sure about the English term, though - there might be better solutions I am not aware of at the moment.
