German to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Automotive / Cars & Trucks / car lights
German term or phrase: Leuchtengrafiken
I am translating a confidential text about a new car model. The text talks about the redesigned "Leuchtengrafiken". This seems to be a standard phrase in the automotive industry but I can't find an EN equivalent.

All help gratefully received

tail light designs {concepts} or "exterior lighting concepts"
Explanation:
Looking through the German usage of this term, I find it is mostly about the tail lights. Sometimes it also refers to the daytime running lights, like on the new Audis.

I have not really seen an English term for this. Maybe "exterior lighting concepts" to cover all your bases.

YOU might be the person who comes up with the definitive English term. Good luck.

Light design

Explanation:
After looking at the pictures under 'Leuchtengrafik' this is what I'd call it, although it certainly isn't a literal translation of the actual German words.

LED DRL

Explanation:
This could be the technical term? This (DRL) is an abbreviation for Daytime Running Lamp.

I wonder whether you can just say LED tail lights; they don't seem to have a specific name for it? The picture is the same as in the German version
