German term or phrase: Sitzlochdüse
Hi folks.

I am doing a spare parts catalog for a cogeneration plant (I know, what does THAT have to do with cars?). It uses common rail fuel injection into the engine and I am stuck on this term.

The ONLY context I have is the entry in the list and here it is:

CR-Injektor D26 Holzgas / Sitzlochdüse

Now I find "Lochdüse" but the 'Sitz' is not found in any sort of translated document that I can find. So I do not know even where to look in English.

I am wondering if this has to do with the "Nadelsitz" in a common rail injection system.

Any contributions gratefully accepted.

I usually do not like going with patents, but after this, further investigation found it in the Kraftfahrtechnisches Taschenbuch from Bosch and its equivalent in English. It appears to be a Bosch innovation (and invented translation, too) and I will go with this.
