German term or phrase: Frischluftklappe
I am translating an automotive text on behalf of a German car company though this word is isolated from others providing no helpful context. (I have an idea of what it means based on how literal German words are but do not want to use a term that isn't correct in English. My apologies in advance for those of you who do not approve of me asking for its translation.)

Explanation:
Don't agree with the fresh air door suggested by the earlier colleague. If in doubt, keep it simple... these specifications are probably going abroad to a country, where English is not their native language...
