German term or phrase: mit einem nicht zwangsgelenkter Sattelauflieger
A previous translators has used "with a controlled pressure semi-trailer". Is this the correct translation?

Context: "Die Prüfung bzw. Nachstellung des Verschlusses mit einem nicht zwangsgelenkten Sattelauflieger, ist mit einem neuen Zugsattelzapfen durchzuführen."

English translation:(not fitted with a) command steer system
Explanation:
"... command steer systems steer in relation to the articulation angle between the tractor and trailer...

Have a look at the second paragraph under heading 1 "Intrduction" of the following paper:

http://www.silvertipdesign.com/BR(Imperial)/[2] JujnovichCeb...

It looks to me as if this is the most likely of the three "self-steering" options (self-steering isn't a totally accurate term, but I think we can let that pass).

neutral  philgoddard: Not disagreeing, but a lot of these refer to "forced steering". All the Google hits for this phrase seem to be translations, mostly from German.
