Ein Event.... die Leidenschaft für das Fahren mit XX aufs Neue beschwor.

This phrase is giving me trouble. I assume it means something like "rekindled the passion for driving with xx" but I don't know exactly and the customer is VERY picky.
Deadline 9 a.m.
