German to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Biology (-tech,-chem,micro-) / Microbiologie
German term or phrase: mit Komma in Römp
Die feuchthaltendung Wirkung bezüglich Tabak und Kosmetika ist völlig unabängig von der Wirkung gegen Fäulnis und Schimmelbildung. Dies wird zum einen daraus erkennbar, daß beide Einträge mit Komma in Römp voneinander getrennt sind.

English translation:separated by a comma [in Römpp]
Explanation:
"Römp" is a misspelling for "Römpp", the name of the author of a well know chemistry lexicon.

Also, the source should probably read "im", unless "Römpp" is a clear reference to a bibliography entry.

So: "... that in Römpp's lexicon of chemistry [plain text] / Römpp [bibliography reference], both entries are separated by a comma."

If it indeed is a bibliography reference, you'll of course adapt to the way you handle citations.

neutral  efreitag: No need to copy the misspelling of the author's name, but otherwise: yes.//Indeed. And the spelling of the name IS strange ;-)
