German to English translations [PRO]
Science - Botany / Fertilisation
German term or phrase: Aufdüngen (aufgedüngt)
Same bloody botany translation. They'll be sending me to Botany Bay by the time I've finished this ...

Also did some research, but think this translation may only apply to fields and crops:

Aufdüngung
Steigerung des Gehaltes im Boden an einem oder mehreren Nährstoffen durch Anwendung von Düngemitteln.

English
Corrective application
Fertilizer applied to increase the content in the soil of a plant nutrient in which the soil is deficient.

I thought about refertilisation, but I'm really not sure. Here's the context in my translation:
Aubrieta Hybrid F1 / Aubrieta deltoidea (Sämlinge)
Kulturinformationen
Topfen in schwach aufgedüngtes, gut durchlässiges Substrat mit einem pH-Wert von 6,5-7. In voller Sonne kultivieren. Die Stauden sollten im Herbst den Topfrand nicht überwachsen. Eventuell zurückschneiden wenn sie im Spätherbst zu groß werden.

BTW, can anyone recommend a good online glossary or best of all online German/English dictionary for this topic.

Floral greetings and gratitude to one and all!

agree  Gillian Scheibelein: lightly fertilised would also do. This is typical of seedlings, they get zinged if there are too many nutrients
