broadleaved is really a reference to leaf size and shape, ie not pointy or sword-shaped, if you like. Often used with regard to weeds.

Conny, vielleicht hast du doch Recht - keine einkeimblättrige Pflanzen zB Grassarten, Mais, usw) könnte man als broadleaved beschreiben. Die Frage ist also für mich ob ganz kleine zweikeimblättrige Pflanzen als broadleaved gelten ...

broadleaved und dicotyledonous haben die selbe Bedeutung, ich glaube. Alles andere scheint vom Zusammenhang abzuhängen - technisch oder informell.
