Es geht um die Blütezeit herbstblühender Kamelien.
"Die Blütezeit der Sorten von C. sasanqua liegt im Herbst: je nach Sorte und ***Witterungsverlauf*** von September bis Dezember."
Ich konnte zwar 70,000 Google-Hits für Witterungsbverlauf finden, aber keine Übersetzung. "Weather" ist nicht genau das was gemeint ist, es kommt eben auf den "Verlauf" des Wetters an.

oder "weather development"

Mit "Witterungsverlauf" wird beschrieben, wie sich das Wetter entwickelt bzw. entwickelt hat (wie z.B. im angeführten Link). Im Falle von Pflanzen dürfte am wichtigsten sein, wie schnell es im Herbst kalt wird und wieviel Niederschlag fällt.
