Science - Botany
German term or phrase: Limoson
Bioaktives Limoson und Flavenoide in der Zirbe senken die Herzfrequenz

This is from an article concerning a pillow filled with "Zirbenholz". According to the Joanneum Research Institute in Austria, Swiss stone pine reduces the heartrate. The article from the Institute itself doesn't mention the above properties.

Explanation:
to erase doubts.

Zirbe is a Swiss pine ... and here, essential oils and flavonoids.

All referenced to Limoson are more or less Austrian, many by Hotel Engel, and I would not do a lot of guesswork about what is meant here.

Asker: Yes, I found that website myself but unfortunately I suspect is translated from the German. I have not found an English website to confirm this, only from Austria or Switzerland, or, as I say, translated.

neutral  EdithK: Ich denke, da stimmt was nicht, könnte eine Erfindung der österreichischen Hotelindustrie sein.

Reference: oeloresin???

Reference information:
After researching the properties of the stone pine (Pinus cembra) in DE and EN, I can't help but wonder if "Limoson" is not some terrible deformation of "oleoresin".

Note to reference poster
Asker: Yes, I suspect it might be a misrepresentation somewhere along the line, but couldn't think of anything else it may be. Oleoresin may be possible.
