A search on "greenshoe option" yielded about 1,500 hits - I excerpted a quote from one below: Credit Suisse First Boston exercises greenshoe option in connection with the US $45 million offering for Zalakerámia, Hungary's tile manufacturer. The positive performance of the Hungarian equity market generally, and of Zalakerámia's shares specifically, has allowed Credit Suisse First Boston to exercise the greenshoe option for a further 120,420 shares. The decision to exercise the greenshoe option follows the completion of the primary capital increase for Zalakerámia for 1,042,800 shares offered as both shares listed on the Budapest Stock Exchange and Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) and on the London Stock Exchange. http://www.csfb.com/news/html/1997/june_04_1997.shtml See also: http://www.alitech.com/corporate/Inv-release/980528i.htm HTH!
