"Das IT-System hat wöchentlich zwischen 120.000 und 150.000 Bestellpositionen zu bewältigen". I wondered if this was simply "orders" - can anyone help?

According to SAP Term Junior dictionary "Bestellposition" is "purchase order item". Other normal sources like Hamblock/Wessels, Romain and Eichborn back up this translation for the individual parts of the complete German term. Normally "item" is the right translation for "Position" when referring to orders.
