participations which will yield added value
'Beteiligung' in a business context most ofet refers to taking a stake, or participation in another company, usually for strategic reasons. The fact that this is uttered in the same braeth as 'Investitions-Partenrship' strengthens the case for this interpretation. 'Investitions-Partnership' would refer to taking a share in other companies for purely invetsment reasons, i.e. to get a good return on capital. 'Wertschoepfungsbeteiligung' would mean taking shares in other companies to produce added value e.g. a company with a certain know-how which would be very costly to develop from scratch.
Now, how can we render this concept concisely in English?
Participations which will yield added value? It doesn't sound as snappy as the German, I know. Is there an alternative?
