sponsoring organization Explanation: Eichborn shows simply "carrier" as the translation for "Trägergesellschaft", but I like Trautwein's Hamblock/Wessels "sponsoring/supporting organization" better. Here is one reference URL: http://www.deutscher-pavillon.de/en/cont5.html "Trägergesellschaft Deutscher Pavillon (TDP), the corporation for the realisation and co-ordination of the German Pavilion" It might be better to stay away from the words "corporation" or "company" because we do not know exactly what sort of "organization" is meant. |
