Estimated Time of Return

According to Duden, Abkürzungswörterbuch, ETR = Estimated Time of Return which they then translate as "voraussichtlich Rückkehr". Since you don't give much context (looks like you might not even be quite sure of what exactly this pertains to), it's a bit difficult to give a more complete answer.

Explanation: - here it speaks of European Transportation Regulation but not as an official name. -

The only two other meanings I know for ETR are "estimated time of readiness" and "ETR 407" which is a highway in Canada
