Explanation:
I'm sure you can figure out a better way of saying this: Ungängigkeit refers to the fact that the item in question did not sell.
"Der Artikel geht gut" means that the item sells well; "der Artikel geht schlecht" = Ungängigkeit refers to the opposite.

Unfortunately, all my dictionaries are silent on the term ungängig/Ungängigkeit, but that's what it means - slow sales [turnover] or no sales, thus the item keeps sitting in inventory.
