insufficient / no sales Explanation: I'm sure you can figure out a better way of saying this: Ungängigkeit refers to the fact that the item in question did not sell. "Der Artikel geht gut" means that the item sells well; "der Artikel geht schlecht" = Ungängigkeit refers to the opposite. Check out these and more references: [PDF] www.plettac.de/gb/down/anhang.pdf ... das Lifo-Verfahren angewendet, und darüber hinaus wurden Abschläge wegen Ungängigkeit und niedrigerem Marktwert vorgenommen. Unfortunately, all my dictionaries are silent on the term ungängig/Ungängigkeit, but that's what it means - slow sales [turnover] or no sales, thus the item keeps sitting in inventory. HTH a bit. |

unsaleability Explanation: A product can be brought to market and be unsaleable—no contract of sale can be agreed between a buyer and a seller—but not unmarketable. ABW. (Abwertung,Wertabschlag) = devaluation WEG. (wegen) = due to Google search |
