shop runner ? standby man? Explanation: I think I'm correct in assuming that this refers to a job description? My Jeep dealer calls his go-for guys "shop runners" (these are the guys who drive customers back and forth, pick up parts, basically run any errand that needs to be run). And Schäfer, Hyperbook Wirtschaftsenglisch, lists Springer m (IndE) standby/swing . . . man See if either fits into your context. HTH! |
